Ron Bross, 65, of Saddle Brook passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010. Beloved husband of Beverly Cerepak-Bross of Saddle Brook. Devoted father of Michele Bross of Las Vegas, NV, Amie Carabillo (Andy) of Dumont, Jenna Bross of Fair Lawn, Mark Cerepak (Bonnie) of Saddle Brook, Brad Cerepak (Lisa) of Saddle River, Kim Sporano (Ben) of Garfield. Loving grandfather of Gabriella, Joseph, Isabella, Anthony, Brandon, Michael, Robert, James, William, Benny, Sara, Josh, and great-grandfather of Miah.Born in Manahawkin he had been a resident of Fair Lawn before moving to Saddle Brook 26 years ago. Prior to retiring Ron had been a carpenter for Macedos Construction and was a member of the Carpenters Union #124 in Edison, NJ. Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 8:30 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home,Paramus.Private cremation. Alexander "Al" Sikorski, 86 of Saddle Brook passed away on February 26, 2010. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy "Dot" in 2008. He is survived by his devoted daughter Gale, son Gary and daughter-in-law Sue, grandchildren Jesse and Carly, sister Helen, brother Ed and sister-in-law Doris, brother Stanley and brother-in-law Walter and sister-in-law Mary. Born in Egg Harbor, NJ, he lived in New York, Fair Lawn and Passaic before settling in Saddle Brook almost 40 years ago. Al served in the U.S. Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant during WWII. He was a Senior Engineer at Western Electric and while there, he worked on the development of the Dew Line in the Arctic which helped protect the country during the Cold War.
